No. Each Switcher is individually paired with its receiver. To ensure proper pairing, compare the serial number on the Switcher to the serial number on the front of the receiver, they should be identical.

To ensure the switcher is paired with the correct receiver you can compare the serial number found on the back of the switcher, to the serial number on the front of the receiver. The numbers should be identical.

Yes! The Switcher and the optional wireless receiver are paired together at the factory. That means, only the receiver and the switcher paired at the factory can communicate.

When you receiver is displaying a purple indicator light, this means it is trying to pair but is unable to find a signal. Follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Power the Switcher and the Receiver down. Let rest for 60 seconds and power both units back on. Try your wireless connection again. If they are still not pairing proceed to step 2.

2. Press the side button on the Switcher. This is putting the Switcher into “Discovery Mode.”

3. Try to pair your Switcher to the Receiver wirelessly again. If you are still receiving a purple indicator light on the receiver, please contact 1-800-Hitachi for further assistance.
