WHDI is used for a wireless connection from the Switcher to its prepared and optional receiver. HDMI is used for a wired connection from the Switcher to the Projector.

(WHDI is not an input. It is a Wireless signal developed by Hitachi, it is the first wireless High Definition Transmission, WHDI = “Wireless Home Digital Interface”.)

No. WHDI uses a higher frequency than Wi-Fi___33, . (5.2 GHz – 5.7 GHz) but in environments such as these, the amount of wireless saturation can cause interference between the Switcher and its receiver.

The recommended distance is no more than 35 feet. The less obstruction in between the switcher and its receiver, the better the signal strength will be.

The blue blinking light indicates your Switcher is searching for a signal. Please allow 60 seconds for you receiver to receive the signal.

The Switchers menu will always be on the lower left of the screen and the color of this menu will be green. The projector’s menu can usually be found in the center of the image and will have a Blue outline.
