No, the Switcher is controlled with buttons on the lower right of the unit. You can also purchase an optional wired remote that connects to the remote control port on the back of the Switcher.

Yes, as long as you have your Switcher properly connected to your network, Hitachi Software is compatible.

No. The receiver is an optional accessory. Because the switcher and the receiver are paired at the factory, they must be purchased together at the time of original purchase. (The wired connection is HDMI)

Yes, once you power on the Switcher and it is in WHDI Mode, the unit will begin sending a signal to the Receiver powering the receiver on automatically. Please allow at least 60 seconds for this automatic power on feature to function.

No, RS-232 can be used to change inputs on the Switcher, but this unit is not coded to allow power control via RS-232.
