With their new Hitachi HDTVs state-of-the-art picture performance, Team Penske will have an incredibly life-like viewing experience. The feature rich televisions are the result of over 50 years of expert television engineering.

“At Hitachi, we strive for success in each and every facet of our business, from innovative products to a major sponsorship in the ultra-competitive world of INDYCAR racing. We couldn’t be more pleased to partner with Team Penske once again.” said Hiroshi Murakawa, Vice President and General Manager, Hitachi America Ltd, Digital Media Division.

“We are proud of what we have been able to accomplish not only with this project, but also in our continued relationship with Hitachi,” said Tim Cindric, President of Penske Racing. “In the areas where we needed to upgrade our facility, Hitachi is an industry leader so it really was a natural fit. “Our partnership with Hitachi has grown and developed over the last four seasons and we are proud of the success we have had together in the Verizon IndyCar Series,” said Roger Penske. “Hitachi has established itself as an important partner in the series, not only with Helio and our team, but also working with Chevrolet on their engine fuel injection systems. We are excited to build on that winning formula in 2015 and beyond as we continue Team Penske’s integrated global partnership with Hitachi.”

After first competing with Team Penske in the 2012 INDYCAR season, Hitachi became a primary sponsor on the No. 3 Chevy driven by Castroneves at select races in 2013 when the popular Brazilian driver finished second in the championship. Last season, Hitachi was the primary sponsor for Castroneves for approximately half of the INDYCAR races, as the No. 3 team once again finished as series runner-up behind Power, who claimed his first title. Adding to the winning combination on the track, Castroneves and Hitachi have worked together to build the “One Hitachi” brand around Hitachi’s social innovation business as a key part of the company’s integrated marketing efforts.

“Hitachi has been an awesome partner for Team Penske and we are all very excited to welcome them back to the No. 3 Chevy team this season,” said Castroneves. “I have had a great time racing and winning for Hitachi and getting a chance to represent them off the track as well. With Hitachi’s continued support, hopefully we can bring home the championship for Team Penske this season.”

Always on the cutting-edge of technology, Hitachi America, Ltd., Digital Media Division, Business Solutions Group is introducing two new DLP projectors, the CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321. Offering the most advanced functionality with full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution, Hitachi’s CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 are ideal for large auditoriums, conference rooms, museums, and concert or stage productions.

Hitachi’s new projectors provide solid reliability, high brightness, and unmatched versatility. Six interchangeable lenses are available to match various screen sizes and installation environments plus 8,200 ANSI lumens light output, result in a super-bright display with outstanding image clarity and uniformity. Two built-in color wheels enable users to easily switch between Rich Color Mode, which is ideal for use in environments where vibrant, rich images are required, and Bright Mode, which is ideal for presentations that require the sharing of information. Additionally, the projectors offer built-in edge blending capability that achieves the seamless projection of one image using multiple projectors.

The CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 are equipped with a highly desirable dual lamp system. If one lamp stops functioning during use, the second lamp continues to run and projects the image with no interruption. Twenty-four hours of continuous operation is possible with the Alternative mode, which alternates the use of the two lamps.

Hitachi’s CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 incorporate five digital inputs including 3G SDI for broadcast capability. The projectors are also HDBase-T enabled, delivering whole-home and commercial distribution of uncompressed HD multimedia content over a single CAT5e/6 cable. HDBaseT is unique in its ability to provide professional installers with a much simpler and more cost-effective way to transmit uncompressed HD video.

Providing even greater installation flexibility, the CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 feature a display rotation of 360 degrees as well as portrait projections. The warping tool enables projections onto spherical surfaces or surfaces with corners as well as conventional flat screens, offering limitless possibilities for creative applications, including retail, hospitality and museums.

No matter how large the application environment, the CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 deliver larger-than-life performance. For added peace of mind, Hitachi’s CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 are also backed by a generous warranty and Hitachi’s world-class service and support programs.
